We are a public school located in Piñon, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation in northeastern Arizona. With a local population of just over 2,000 people, we enjoy a small, community atmosphere. At Piñon Unified School District, we offer educational services to our local residents and the surrounding communities of Hard Rock, Forrest Lake, Whippoorwill, Blue Gap, Cottonwood, Low Mountain, and Black Mesa.
Our governing board is comprised of five members who work and meet together to ensure the best interests of Piñon USD students are forefront in our thoughts. They meet regularly to establish and review school policy, set an annual budget, and make decisions regarding the allocation of funds and goal setting. Working together with you, our community members, The PUSD Governing Board helps to pave the way for a better future for the children, and ultimately, for our community.
